The bad experience starts with their merry go round path leading to the parking lots with no proper guidance. It reminds you of those steep hill station driving. The next place i landed was the rest rooms, dirty, smelly and no urinal for kids and there is no toilet that is functional there. Worse is the face that both men and ladies toilets share a common entrance from the mall and then the first door is for ladies and there are two other doors closed and the fourth is for men. IT is the same in two places I checked,
Lot of construction work is also going on and the worst is the construction in a corder of the food court. They have this centralized payment to put money into a food card and then use the card to buy in all restaurants. After standing in the queue I saw people having to go back into payment queue becos the balance was less on their card.
I tried three restaurants (Curry house, Dindigul Biryani, Jus parathas) and the taste was just average.
Bad experience with Dindigul Biryani. They totally messed up their system that there was a plate of Biryani lying around for more than 20 minutes and the guy on the counter kept me waiting without even seeing my bill. After those 20 minutes some other guy came out from the kitchen and promply checked my bill and gave that plate to me! I protested saying that the Biryani gone cold. He took it inside and put some hot Biryani on top and gave it back to me. It was a combo with this bad tasting chicken biryani with no egg, a horrible karandi omlette (whatever that is), two gola urundais and some wierd tasting dessert. I have never thrown an entire meal like this in the recent memory. After tasting this #%@#% I took a coke, so that I dont vomit there. Went back and ate the home made food an hour later!
May go to this mall one more time to check out PVR, otherwise I would stick to Spencers and Cit Centre and wait for Express Mall.
