me and wife showed up for lunch by about 12:45 on Sunday and found ourselves to be the only people in the restaurant. the waiters didnt even greet properly, and one was running to a corner to wear his tie!
we got seated, and the place had this heavy smell of floor cleaner and the floors were just being swept (no a/c etc. till then)
we ordered a starter in addition to the buffet and we wanted to get a look at the spread.. and that's when the manager stepped into the scene and was quite rude in saying "not ready".
ok so we waited and asked if they could atleast serve some salad on the table to which they said you can pick it up when it is on the buffet!
finally the dishes made their way to the buffet we were still waiting for our starter order which didnt come. we asked several times and the manager and the waiter were just avoiding eye contact!
the rotis were also not served till very late. and soon the crowd came in etc.
the food was average, a few dishes were good. but overall service was terrible. the table cloth was not very clean, and we also asked for the plates to be changed. they didnt pick up the plates in between the buffet which meant using the same plate throughout. very poor service on table.
starter didnt taste too good either. but dont want to blame the food quality too much. it was somewhat ok - the south indian items etc.
definitely not a "fine dining" experience.
