This is one of those silent restaurants located near Hotel Beverly.
The place looks well spread with a lot of empty chairs, but the owner is very skeptical on his seating arrangement. I found it very weird to have about 3 x 6 seating tables empty but he takes time to accommodate 2 people in only the 4 seating tables. When questioned, it was for sudden rush of people coming in. But the probability of 24 folks walking in at any given point is not very likely.
The ambiance is poor, with only fans to provide any ventilation. Mosquitoes are a constant killer and a big hindrance to enjoy the rather delicious meal.
Hospitality sucks. You are left waiting at your table for a rather long time before someone comes to tend to you.
They really need to ramp up things in this area.
The food... here's the only good part that earned them 2 stars of the 5 available. The food is distinctively different from the moment it touches your tongue. The food is heavily influenced by Mughalai cuisine with excellent blend of cooking styles.
The gravy's are thick and just rightly spiced. The kebabs are really good and well done up. The biriyanis are a treat at this place.
The bill takes another time to arrive.
Another major disappointment here is the billing. They do not accept cards, but only plain cash. In today's age of moving everything with plastic, it is a big negative to find a place that does not accept plastic..
Overall, a place that only qualifies for its food ! Take away would be the best option here.
