    A Trestle Theatre (UK) production, The Snow Queen was originally commissioned and produced by Unicorn Theatre. This dynamic and high quality production for children is a modern version of the classic European tale adapted by talented Chennai-based playwright Anupama Chandrasekhar. Her adaptation gives new energy and exuberance to the traditional fairytale, drawing on rich influences of Indian mythology, cultures and topography, along with sharp-eyed commentary on contemporary culture.
