DakshinaChitra is celebrating Onam, with the main objective of creating awareness about the various village traditions among urbanities and to give visitors a chance to enjoy themselves in a unique ambience of festivity. During the festival DakshinaChitra will offer bright spectacle of Kerala gaiety with colourful pookolam, devotional music, thoranams and beautiful lamp to greet visitors at the centre. A group of traditional performers from Kerala will perform the vibrant arts forms like Poothan Thira, Mangalam Kali and Kinnam Kali.
