Pathetic place 2011-10-12
Had been with my family to this restraurant ,it all looks presentable from outside.Once the door is opened, you will first see a dimly lit place where there are not more than 10 table ,it almost resembled a bar atmosphere, only difference people where eating not drinking.Such bad lighting that u cant even figure out what biryani you are ordering.Wall paint was peeling from all the walls and not very hygenic place.The North eastern crowd who are employed there, have no idea what they are serving.Even asking for water is a issue there. -

Well,Chettinad hotels requires no certificate but still with the arrival of hell a lot of fake chettinads in chennai in the last few years, the values been going down for the originals.
One can trust this chettinad & enter inside.
Food apart you'll also be welcomed by the man with the big moustache with a smile that makes you feel at home.
Getting inside you can always see people already forgotten themselves and much gripped with thier dishes.
meat balls are their special dish.You can find no flaw with their biriyanis. Fish kulambu tatses very delicious..... read more -
