One of the worst in Chennai 2011-12-16
I am working in t-nagar, went to have lunch here (on december 16, 2011 bill no-23072) for a change. First he said half of the items listed in the menu is not available. Then he gave a new definition for lung fung soup...main course was very bad and the worst is the ice cream. They listed a item, The big one - 10 favours, he gave 6-7 scoop and billed for the whole. When I asked an explanation he said he cant do anything and I should have returned it back before tasting it! Easily one of the worst in chennai with a set of goondas running it...... -

Great icecreams, late night fare 2011-08-22
I would recommend anyone for the variety of icecreams they have. great stuff. my wifey loves the spud here. the dragon cauliflower and paneer pulao are nice n good.Decent place if you are hungry late night. the joint is open till 1:30 AM all 365 days.. a little pricey ofcourse but when you get food late night when there are no other restaurants in the city open, it justifies the price

unjustified price tag 2011-07-04
The moment you enter the chit-chat teynampet, you feel you have entered an average restaurant. The moment you go to wash your hands you realise this restaurant wont be good, and the moment you go to their restroom(toilet) you realise this place actually sucks.. The menu is Ok, with american-italian dishes and some sizzlers which r marked with - NOT AVAILABLE. anyways when i saw the price tag, i realised i am about to be robbed. 200rs average for a nominal indian chicken .. reminded me of the rates of 'Copper Chimney' in Chennai. Anyways i thought forget about everything ets try their food.

Bad option for a late night snack 2011-07-01
In Chennai, if you are hanging out late in the night, there aren't really too many options. Chit Chat on Mount Road was one of those rare places which remain open till late. It closes at 1:30 AM or something.
I went there on a Friday night, hungry, post watching a movie. The place looks impressive from outside but is very very shady on the inside. The lights are dim, the waiters look unfriendly and the interiors aren't great.
I tried some Chinese food and dessert both of which were very ordinary, doing the bare minimum of filling your hungry tummy without any great taste or flavor... read more -
