Excellent (with caveats) 2012-01-12
First off, note that they DO serve "health food" (at least, the food they served to me when I went thrice between Jan 7 and 12 was definitely healthy); it is just that recognising it as being healthy is not evident. That said, this is NOT a health-food-as-uncooked (raw)-food type of a place. What they serve can be labelled as very healthy, in many case simply traditional, versions of many South Indian, and certain North Indian, "food" that is likely eaten at home.

I had gone there for a dinner after all the hype around health food of that place.
1.Menu - Very little 'health' options except for some token pith/banana flower based soup and drinks. The main courses are plain regular restaurant menu.
2. Ambiance - Very bad .THe place is actually an apartment transformed to a restaurant. The closed rooms with concrete walls resonate and amplify the noise, and make the sound levels unbearable. Most decent restaurants either pad up the walls, or have an open door to reduce noise.

Not so nice now 2010-09-24
this used to be housed in quaint house before the new location. the new place is very ordinary almost like a converted flat.
the food is decent but sevice now is pathetic. as we were the first ones it looked like they were waiting for a few more customers to start serving. also the concept of serving the curries with teaspoons is so annoying. they did not serve a few items until we asked for it. on the whole a disappointing experience. -

On MAy22, 2009 at 9 pm, I had gone to Sanjeevanam Restaurant after reading that they were having a Tandoor Festival. It was a special day for me as well. So I decided to take my family for a healthy meal.
I had gone there twice before and had enjoyed the different kind of food and the healthy style of cooking.
