Bad Quality Foods and Worst Service 2011-02-12
Foodie. Lebanais is absolutely right.
I'm a guy from Kolkatta and tried foods from Daawat only once.
Bad quality foods and worst service I've ever experienced.
Try to post the real reviews about this place.

MOST AWFUL... 2011-02-12
I have no idea how they are getting excellent ratings for the worst food served in Adyar. That too continuous excellent reviews. I have been to this place when they used to serve good food. That was one year back. Recently I went to this place with my friend thinking of the same old Daawat. But it turned out to be one of the worst food experiences I had.
The place itself was dingy and the service was so pathetic although we were the only customers at the beginning.

Tried out 2nd time - Taste Superb 2011-01-27
Their kebabs are rocking particularly tangiri.......I thought they are one specialist in north indian items, but their fried rice is too good.
As we had a lot of starters we ordered only for one fried rice....but the taste make me too order for the second one........ yummy and nice. And their friendly reception and care towards taste is awesome...... I can say one can try any food over here most of them is good :) ..... yet to try deeply on chinese....missed briyani as it is sold out :( -

I've been eating in Daawat every since they started up in Besant Nagar, and the food is absolutely amazing! I have never had tandoori as good as Daawat's! Great work!!! Awesome food!!! The new restaurant in Adyar serves not only amazing food but the ambience is classy too... Love it! -
