Express Avenue’s food court is usually so crowded that it’s a tough task to find a seat there. On such a busy Sunday, my friends and I decided to give the food court a miss and instead, try the spread at DINE- the restaurant cum café which is a part of Escape.
Ambiance- Pretty lighting, classy wooden furniture.
Food- I was too hungry to even take a glimpse of the menu and we chose to go for the very popular Biriyani deal. What’s the deal? Soup, a drink, unlimited Biriyani, Raita, Brinjal Curry and a dessert for Rs 200. The Sweet Corn Soup was very average but then again, I might have felt that way because I’m not a fan of soups. The Biriyani, which was the dish in the spotlight did not disappoint us. I have definitely tasted better Biriyani at several other places but this one too, tasted pretty good. The dessert served was Jaggery Payasam. It was served warm and tasted great. The drink served tasted a lot like Tang. I would have preferred if they could serve Pepsi/Coke instead.
All in all, a decent and a totally VFM experience.
