A southindian knows exactly how a dosa would taste and what it would taste best with. I have had dosa in many many restaurants but this, probably was the most disappointing! I have never known of any other restaurant that puts soooooooooooooo much of chilli in its dosa batter! the dosa in itself was super spicy with the addition of raw green chillies!! pathetic tasting, cold and not so crisp dosas! not worth it for the money!! both my mom and dad have been having severe stomach pains after consuming dosa from there! and the unfortunate me ordered for a chilli cilantro cheese dosa! the cheese was... read more

best in poor service and lousy food ! 2011-11-14
DC is getting better and better in poor service and lousy food quality. We went as a family the other week and it took them a cool 30 mins to serve their wafer thin soggy dosas ! V poor VFM. Save your time and money, get to the other 'bhavans' for some good wholesome southie food ! -

excruciatingly slow 2011-11-12
The service is horrible. Do not go there unless you have a lot of patience.
I was pressed for time and thought delivery would be quicker, but on the contrary, I paid for my order and waited for 45 mins and there was no signs of my order. Finally had to walk out. I can't comment on the quality of food as I did not get to taste it. they will make it so painful that you would not mind walking away even if you have paid for your order, just the way it happened to me today.
Thanks to Dosa Calling, I wasted 45 mins waiting for food that i never got to see!! -

Soggy Dosas and Lousy Service 2010-01-19
Innovation has become the name of the game. The latest trend in Chennai restaurant culture is fusion, especially based on the local cuisine.
