Fishermans Fare Is Not Fair At All 2011-01-10
I was passing through Casa Major Road yesterday with my family and the hoardings and adverts outside this Fisherman's Fare tempted me to go and have a try.
We ordered Kerala Paratha and Vanjaram Fish Curry, nethili fry, prawn masala and pomfret fry.
The paratha was too cold as it was taken from the fridge and the Vanjaram fish in Curry smells odd. Only pomfret fry and prawn masala was okay.
We ordered 2 biryani's and mixed fried rice.
I found that Biryani was made in the afternoon.
They can't manage all clients by serving the old biryani.... read more -

Pleasant, but nonchalant 2009-08-25
I have been to this place a couple of times. The names makes it seem like it only serves seafood. Well, it does predominantly serve seafood, but i guess the demand of people who simply want to eat biryani and the likes of panneer butter masala are too much to keep it of the menu.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The food was good. The service was friendly to the usual nonchalant (which is pretty much common in any restaurant in the country). The Worst seafood dinner i ever had !!!!! 2009-06-20
Yesterday craving for some nice seafood me and my cousin bumped into this fisherman clove at egmore....... From outside though the restaurent looked amazing... the inner ambience was horrible....
We tried out the combo meal that they for 180 bucks..... oriental combo and the tandoorr.. and guys and girls let me tell you it is yuck.....
The only thing which we had was the chicken soup that they served...
we ate just few pieces of fish fry and returned.....they serve this rice with fish fried with out any fish curry.. i don't know how i am supposed to eat/./////

Best Place for Sea food in chennai 2009-03-28
The place rocks when it comes to sea food, i have been going to this restaurant for the past 6 years am major fan of their prawns dishes. Their kumb bao chilly prawns is a must try -
