Been here twice, first time was an eye opener and second time was an indulgence. please go there with an open heart for food. don't be a choosy and finicky food eater if you are going there,as there is enough food to keep you interested. Also keep in mind that they need some time to prepare the food.
It's basically a non-vegetarian paradise. Veggies would find themselves little off the place with lot of Non-veggies around, but there is good surprises for you too. Try the Al-yakhni - one of the best white groud dishes i have ever eaten.

My expectations were surely not met. The food was surely not wazwaan standard and at the price being charged, it better be. But still worth a try, if you have not tasted Kashmiri Wazwaan. Just remember, if you like the food, a good wazwaan is 1000 times better

Went to Jaavaid's today and had the Goshtaba, Roghan Gosh, Chicken Kebab and a dessert.

Let me first say that the quality of the food here is REALLY GOOD. Taste wise, I felt that the roghan gosh was a little bland but the other dishes were good. The Goshtaba in particular was just out of this world! It's the best thing I have ever tasted in my entire life, chinese, indian, japanese, you name it, this dish beats them all. The only thing though is that for the price the portions are a bit small but the taste is absolutely heavenly.

This restaurant had just started and we arrived around 6:30pm. We were informed that the restaurant would open after 7pm. But they offered us a table and told us that they would try to whip up something for us nonetheless.
We were surprised that chef Jaavaid himself came to take our order. We never intended to order a full course meal so we just ordered soups and two starters.

    The Tomato Shorba was
