JCs cafe has been closed. I spoke to the owner and they are looking for an alternative spot to open up. Then it shall be advertised in the media, it is after New Years, that it had been closed. New Years Dinner was the last I had at JCs.
i went there yesterday after all the searching and was quite disappointed to find it closed at 10 pm.and mind u they have put a contact no. which says number doesn't exist.:(
Went to JC again after 8 months for dinner yesternight. They have maintained their quality and even added more dishes to the menu. I had the Veg Cannelloni and my parents had the Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Manchurian which were really good with good portions. The reason for my visit and why I would recommend fellow burrpers to go there for is the homely and quiet ambience along with the great food. Our waiter was Gerard again like last time and he's very friendly and cordial.
As other reviews have pointed out this cafe has an overwhelmingly quaint and homely feel to it. Its less crowded[on the weekdays i had visited] and the food is upto the mark. Have got addicted to their cream of chicken soup,its so yummy and the taste is just perfect. The chicken pieces will just melt into our mouth and the soup does not need the slightest seasoning from our part.Simply perfect.
