A terrible place!! 2010-09-18
Been there a number of times in the past and had nothing to complain about. But my last visit was awful….(actually awful is an understatement). These guys have lost it completely. No wonder the restaurant was empty through the whole evening. No complaints about the service…..( we were the only ones there so everyone was attending to us). They have a decent spread of dishes on the menu and are priced nominally. We decided to go safe on the food…so we chose appams and chicken curry. Great Place to Be 2009-12-05
For a taste of Kerala cuisine with the traditional setting and yes…for good bang for the buck…Kairali is the place to be. The eatery that is just opposite the Anna Nagar East Terminus (now defunct I guess) is a good place to have a lazy Sunday lunch or even for a quick weekday dinner. Not so upmarket but yet, the place has class. Right from the Kerala signature brass oil lamps to the delectable cuisine, Kairali boasts of Kerala all around.
