  • not as good as ente keralam 2011-01-31

we went there for our parents anniversary.

mom is a great fan of ente keralam, especially their raja keeyam (sort of a thali / buffet).

this place also had one except its cuisine is a bad mixture of south indian, goan and mangalorean cusines, nothing did go well together...

the vindaloo was too raw smelling with the chillies, only thing good was the egg masala, that too not so good as ente keralam.

    service was great though.

    overall, an ok place.

  • Not a great place 2010-03-11

having been to the other restratunts of the same group. i had lot of expectation before going here. I took my boss for a dinner yesterday
    it was real disappointment.
I had meen tawa fry which was good.
Since I didn't know much about Goa menu,I asked the waiter to decide a curry.(I specifically asked spicy).
He gave me goan prawn which sucks.
We had parotta and appam which was good but costly.
the total bill came for 1200 for two npt worth for money

the ambience was nice, and the food served was authentic. Commenting on the prices might not do justice to the meal, but yes, personally, i did feel the prices were high. But then again, they are not targeting me!

The apams and condiments served were nice, the chicken curry was superb, and the parathas were something to talk about.

howver, the only shortcoming was the quantitie
