The restaurant is a family run business with a difference. The place provides many different seating arrangements over four and a half grounds. We enjoy cooking and seeing our guests throw off the cobwebs and not having to "eat and run".It is a place to enjoy excellent quality food from South India as well as the continent while kicking back and relaxing in the outdoors.

    Been there last saturday with a large group of friends&families. We all liked the food. Soups were good. Not much to choose from for veg starters. Most of the continental items were bland and portions were less. No complaints here. I loved the desserts more than the main course. Esp Tiramisu&Belgian velvet pot were heavenly. Two things irked me
    1. The cutlery - They were totally out of place. Failed to excite me.
    2. Pre-Order dishes - I was totally unaware of it. Not many mentioned it. So when I was dreaming of a Lasagne I was disappointed that I've to pre-order it before day. Serious    ... read more

    We all know that it is Lydie and Abdulla!!! so obviously they close for bakrid and ramzan.
    So now , went again to lydie's last weekend with my colleagues and it was so busy that we couldn't get a place to park our car but luckily got the table.The food is amazing as usual with great ambiance and nice music, thanks to Lydie for her suggestions. At last the dessert, i have tried most of the desserts from the menu but still my favorite is Tiramisu and i have at least one every time i go.If you are looking for a relaxation with a good food then Lydie's is the place you go to..........

    We went as a group as 6 adults and 3 kids on a Sunday afternoon. There was nobody there apart from us.. Food is atrociously expensive 220 bucks for a biryani which was dry and hardly had any good meat (the roadside biryanis taste better trust me), 395 for a grilled seer fish - the thinnest slice ive ever seen, literally dead pan fish. I don't mind spending more monies on food whose taste remains in our memories, but here after spending a few thousands, we decided to have the deserts outside.     We went there on a Sunday afternoon, hungry and eager for food! The slow pace for giving the menu and taking orders irked us, but we decided to make use of the delay by letting our son play around in their open space on the boat and hammocks,. Also, the restaurant owner herself came over and explained that the delay was due to sudden arrival of 4 groups at the same time...That was very sweet of them, but what really sealed our experience was the yummy food!
