Quality and consistency 2010-08-31
Malgudi has for some time been the high profile south indian favourite in Chennai. We have been having food there from time to time. The quality is always spot on and i have tasted the fish fry every single time and found it to be consistent. This is quite rare in Chennai.
The food variety is decent and you get to eat all the traditional south indian goodies under one roof.
Service is fair and we dont have anything to complain about.
All in all an excellent place to fill your tummy with sumptous south indian food. Keep it up guys! -

Have been here lot of times. but only after becoming a burrper wanted to write a review of this nice place. the recent one was within a week with a friend for her birthday. the place was as usual good. food was greaat. i have always loved thier appams and idiapams and gravies, n they were good this time too. my friend had non veg items and said they were also good (first time for the friend at malgudi). hence i guess they have been keeping up the good work. hope they continue to do it. a lil expensive, may be they cud make it a lil more affordable. -

They serve a good lunch time thali or combo. Includes soup, parotta, dosa, aappam and rice. With a bunch of decent to good dishes. and you also have a dessert (sweet) to finish it off.
