  • worst ever restaurants ever been to!

    we had a very bad experience eating at this restaurant!there is nothing great there n have to wait for more than 30min for u to get a seat alloted for u and the worst thing is that 2 of our family members had a stomach upset after eating the pongal which they promised to b one of the special items in there menu.another item the idly were half cooked and it was horrible,we have decided not to go there again!!!

    Have been quite few times to this place. More by default of having been in the vicinity than by design. The food is good but is not consistent always. But the price is really over the top. Qualtiy n taste asks for premium but not this much. Might even go again. But as i said gud but no gr8 shakes. And having been in Madurai for quite some time and having eaten in thier better outlets during their start up days, i can definitely say that the Quality factor has dipped.

  • Really awesome chutneys

    One of my favorite haunts is Murugan Idli Shop...At times they misfire on the idli's. It's either too soft or to pulchied...but somehow they always get their chutneys right...all together their food is good and for the rate you pay its definitely value for money. I have tried their dosa's which may not be the best in town but it sure is good. Been to a few Murugan Idli's around Chennai and they all are pretty consitent and good.

  • AWESOMESTEST!!! :D

    After the much hyped Chennai Times Pongal Vadai Contest results were out, we decided to chk out the top 10 places and I have to say these guys in T.Nagar have the best Vadai's in town...!!!
    I had Idli, Vadai and Ghee Roast Dosa and I loved them all.
    I fell in love with the sambar here and was wondering if I could marry it if possible!! :P
    Well, jokes apart, the service was fast, the waiters courteous, and the prices were decent. The place itself was generally neat and tidy.
    I would definitely come back here as many times as possible.
