We were a little fond of lotus pond's food so we were wondering what was going on when it was under renovation for over a year. One day we saw Mystic Masala in its place and thought of giving it a try.
It was a decently decorated place with a booth type of setting largely for bigger groups. Though the place was pretty much empty. We ordered dal and a chestnut curry both of which were tasty and filling. Awesome starters!! 2009-06-19
i went to Mystic Masala last week with our colleagues and it was a very pleasant lunch. we ordered fried corns and some others as starters and i simply loved it!
Th food over there is awesome esp the Dal Makhani, i ordered roti and tandoori chicken it was truly yummy. my colleagues ordered chicken biriyani and some other dishes. The raitha was also very yummy...i wish to visit this place again. -

Non-Mistiq 2009-01-15
We had heard a lot about mistiq masala, but it was conflicting reviews, either people loved it or hated it, so we decided to try it out ourselves. I really dont know what to feel after that. The food was nice. So it was nothing "spectacular" and nothing to "write home about"
the dal makhanni was simply superb. in my personal rankings, it has knocked off the Dal Sigri from the no2 slot. (Now folks you might ask what is number 1, its the dal makhanni made by a friends mother).

I have been thinking to write something special about mystique masala,but sadly nothing comes to mind as we won't be able to find anything special o'er there
The same old beaten to death menu list, stoic waiters/waitress who may charge for smiling @ customers,a restroom which is 2 kms away from the restaurant.
Only saving grace is the quality of food. The non-veg stuff is yummy and the vegeterian side dishes are also good. The rice items are so-so,and the biggest let down is the very average dessert.
