    Personally i liked the food here a lot. The mixed fried rice is to die for! typical south indian stuff u can get in any fast food.. just that it isnt fast .. of all the stalls in Ascendas this is the most crowded (prolly taken over by mcdonalds now) and I guess that explains why.. one cos its the only south indian restaurant in here and two cos its actually nice for a food court stall.. much much better than the restaurant Palimar in Nungambakkam.

    But the wait is long.. worth if ur not in a mood for fine-dining.. duh! don except service/ambiance in a food court!

    drove in one evening with two friends from out of town; eating at mall food courts is not high on any of our list of restaurant choices, but being hungry, we headed for the nearest food joint - ascendas

    two of us opted for masal dosas at palimar

    ambience - if you like a quiet corner table and a leisurely meal, ascendas is not for you. it's not palimar's fault, but fighting for a space at a not too clean table doesn't add anything to the dining experience.

    service - was terribly slow. yes, the place was crowded, but even so, we had to wait 15 minutes for a dosa
