This is a follow up to my earlier rave about this place. Made a second visit there yesterday, almost a year after I had first eaten in Peshawari and it was a DISASTER. The standards have hit rock bottom.

Peshawari, located in Chola Sheraton is one of my favorite restaurants in Chennai. The menu is very limited, but for the discerning meat eater, this place is heaven.
The kababs are grilled and spiced to perfection, they literally melt in your mouth. The pricey Peshawari Raan is to die for! The naans are soft and tasty.
But the real attraction is the Black Daal / Daal Makhni, which is beyond any doubt the best you can find in Chennai, followed by the one at the Great Kabab Factory in a distant second place. Slow-cooked to perfection.
