  • Atlast somethng truly punjabi Mar 08, 2013

We had been to Pind several times, but only bcoz of my lazy nature i always refrained from writing a review ;)
few points which i always feel shud be put first :
awesome punjabi food in its true taste
no adulteration with local flavors and all to attract local public
service has been good all the time and they better be always inorder to keep up the brand
though we ( i.e. me and my wife) never really face any sort of prob or issues with the food except 1 time when the Paneer tikka was served with few pieces of rotten type tomatoes. But it was soon changed by the waiter.

  • pleasant experience, delicious paneer dishes Mar 03, 2013

    Location -
    1. just at the crossing of Vijay Nagar bus stand, inside the lane thus prevents from too much traffic congestion
    2. The only problem is that there is NO dedicated car parking - a major issue during rush hours

    Ambiance -
    1. a satisfactory experience with clean, well laid out and spacious dining area.
    2. Two neat touches -
a). A mocktail bar in the center for all drinks
b). The dining table has chambers with various Indian spices and dals.

    Food quality and taste:
    1. PLENTY of paneer dishes - sometimes you baffled as to how much will each dish

  • Real Punjabi Food Jan 28, 2013

Very few places serve authentic Punjabi food and Pind is definately one of them. Excellent Menu and punjabi dishes. Paneer is their speciality. As someone else also suggested ; I found Music too loud as well as the A/C, In winter also they keep it very low and it was very cold. Other than this Pind is the best. Far better than so called Dhaba's

If there is some one out there who hates paneer I insist them to visit PiND and try any paneer dish here and I'm sure your'e gonna become a big fan of panner and pind.
Vegetarian dishes never tasted better to me anywhere in the entire of Chennai.
The ambiance is really good and the pricing is very appropriate, if you're a vegetarian and love punjabi food , then this is a place you shouldn't be missing on.
