Poor quality and Poor service
Being a frequent goer for chettinad restaurants, recently went for a dinner to velachery karaikudi restaurant. The prices for all the dishes has gone high. But the quality in food and service are very very poor. We got few dry non veg dishes with too much of leaves and spices and very few non veg pieces. The customer service also very poor....
I'm sure nobody will visit this place for the second time.
It runs only because other restaurants are over crowded on peak times...So instead of waiting in other good restaurants like Nalas, people prefer to come here....

Tasty
Had been here couple of times w/ friends and family. Food is good and excellent. Ambiance is great and service is fast. Starters with mint chutney is the favorite of all for me!
Price is average and doesn't burn your pocket like kalinga restaurant in velachery. I suppose, both relate to Savera group or shyam group in Chennai.
You can also order food from dabba which is located just above karaikudi. Worth a try.
