I wonton more!
There is little to say about the ubiquitous chinese restaurants dotting the city. But there are only a handful that really serve the best of authentic chinese varieties. Wonton is one such. The restaurant is hidden amidst trees in one of the quiet lanes of abhiramapuram. It is attached to a fast food outlet called Krispy Cream which has varied menu and a salad bar. Also available are confectionery, pastas and burgers, milk shakes and a different kinds of breads. They are together run by one Ms. Shobha Gwalani who even takes party orders.
Coming back to the restaurant, the food is yummy and sumptuous. As is the case with most of the chinese restaurants, the portions are quite large. You can order one rice variety and a gravy for two persons. Its been a while since i had been there so i'm unable to recollect the names.
Recommended dishes:
1.Dragon chicken and pepper chicken are just heaven. Chicken pieces in a thick gravy with right amount of spices. Its just amazing!
2. Singapore rice: My all-time fav.
Some of their crispy starters that are simply yummy but i can hardly recollect the names. Maybe next time ill make a note :)
