You go for lunch here and you come away having paid just Rs.115/- for a filling meal. The ‘meals’ thalli is full of the usual side dishes but the ‘limited’ rice was a little disappointing. It should have been better quality and hotter! The place was crowded (at 1.15 pm) but it did not take long for them to find me a place. The orders were taken soon and the food arrived about 10 min later. Everyone around me had placed the same order (south Indian meals), therefore it must have been easier to serve. Actually 5 minutes after I placed my order I tried to change it to north Indian meals, but the bearer excused himself to change it, saying the order was almost ready.
Among the side dishes, I was also disappointed with the taste of sambar and did not understand the purpose of placing kurma too in the plate. However it had the full range of tastes ending with payasam and a small cup of icecream.
So filling, however a little less than a “fulfilling” experience.
