    well what can one say about Sathyam, it's the place to watch a movie.
    despite influx of big players like INOX and pvr, they have held their own.
    they understand consumers and its a big plus.
    huge number of screens, attention to detail and customer care.
    rdx and atmos intoriduced.
    good snack options are there.

    I am yet to come across a person who doesnt like this place. it has gone from good to awesome in a matter of time and no wonder is the best theater in Chennai currently. Yes their tickets are the highest but they are worth every penny. Their in-theater food is the bets among the lot and their popcorn is definitely one to die for along with the butter!

    One of the best places in the City to watch a movie, Sathyam Cinemas is a classy theater. The seating is really good and so is the pop-corn. The service is always very courteous, remember spilling a Coke once and being offered a re-fill on the spot. The parking at the theater is one of the most organised in the whole World properly, and only 30 Rs! Where does this still happen?! Also free parking just 100 meters away. FREE parking in Chennai!!! :O Go there just for that.

    Guys I've been in CHN now for abt 10 years ! and I have see sathyam grow from the 3 screen to the ultra cool multiplex we are witnessing write now ! I totally love Sathyam ! And I dont have to recommend it, cause we all know there is nothing like Sathyam ! :)

    Surreal - something that is unreal ,thats just about how i could describe the Sathyam Cinemas of now !!!

    * Chennai is my native & i reside by a place close to Sathyam Cinemas ,i still remember watching Jurassic Park there :)

    * But that's a thing of the past now ,during those days Sathyam was just another theater but not the most preferred ," SAPPHIRE ,ANAND & DEVI " theaters were the front runners then.

    * The development of Sathyam has been in full swing over the past decade & each time they have innovated to drastic levels.

    I didnt want the homepage right now to look like what it is looking right now,but then I got lots of time at hand so why not spread the word?
    I think they renovated a few years back and how! The butter popcorn is... :) well.. what dya think? of course its yummy..and its even nicer when you've pre ordered it and its delivered right in your cushiony seat..cant get better than that.of course,the movie might suck,but come on,Sathyam doesnt MAKE movies.they just "fillim screen pannang" ( I'm learning Tamil.Excuse me!)

    I frequent satyam cinemas atleast thrice a week nowadays tho i used to b there almost everyday few yrs bak! I would ve given the place a 5 on 5 if only it were the same. The only happening multiplex in the city where u can find the hip crowd of the city anytime (even at 1 in the nite on a working wednesday, yea ask me wat i was doin there at tht time :P).. it has grown from being a just another 'theatre' as we call it to a wonderfully designed and maintained group of cinema audis.. but now is kinda goin down a bit with too much renovation happening all the time.
