Best Grilled Chiken and Fish! 2012-03-25
Sea Shell make the best grills in Chennai (in the moderate price range). Period!
If you like your grill spicy, try the barbeque pepper grill chicken. I love the smoky spicy flavor, because it is made on a charcoal grill. You could also try a moderately flavored (flame) grilled chicken, or you can try chicken al-faham.
They all taste even more better with their mayo sauce (they call it garlic sauce).
I recently tried their Fish Grill (Samak Mashooy), it was boneless and very fleshy and juicy. Then, the Afghani chicken is just brilliant.

WORST HOME DELIVERY EVER 2012-03-06
HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH SEASHELL-GREAMS ROAD. HAD ORDERED FOR FOOD TO BE HOME DELIVERED AND WAS TOLD WILL REACH IN 1 HOUR (FROM GRAMS ROAD TO EGMORE). CALLED THEM AFTER 90 MINS ONLY TO FIND THAT NO ONE HAD TAKEN THE ORDER. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE. -

Seahshell greams road 2011-10-03
Food is just above average. But the customer service is pathetic. I had to wait for 30 minutes and then they gave me a table. But when a group of 15 walked in, I was asked to move. After all 15 gives more money than 2. When I said we were here long before, they said no reservations had been made by the group. Too bad the resto guys dint know the group of 15 were known to me and I knew when they walked in and that they dint make reservations.

Not much options for a vegetarian! 2011-09-17
Being a pure vegetarian in a group of non veg lovers can be a big disadvantage. That too when your friends visit a place like Sea Shell every month :(
Been to this place umpteen number of times. And every time i order their grilled sandwich or veg biryani with their out of the world "Lime Mint Cooler".
Once ordered Macaroni for a change and paid the price for it. That was the worst i have ever had. Can't complain though, since it's an Arabian restaurant specialized in chicken grills and shewarma.
