Limited menu,Great taste/service 2010-05-31
They serve multicuisine buffet every day,the dinner costing Rs.750/- plus taxes.I felt that the ambience,taste & service as more than adequate.
Their chicken kebabs as starters was out of the world as was their veg. soup full of variety of vegetables.
Their Chicken Biryani was very delicious,salads were limited but good,lacha paratha & phulkas very soft,Desserts- again limited but good.But the ice creams were available only on request - small scoops & limited choices.
They have live band playing everyday.
Definitely worth a try. -

Its a misnomer 2010-04-18
The name sounds chinese doesnt it.. a big disappointment. I expected a chinese menu on the buffet. but when i browsed through the items, there were rasam and sambar and dahi vada. what the hell !! how can u find sambar and rasam in a chinese restaurant.
there was only one starter for the vegetarians. (only one for the non veg also i guess)
and the usual panner mirchi and dal makhani. The chilly garlic noodles was a face saver for the restaurant being branded as chinese.
the menu apart. the food was average. nothing great.

Shanghai club! The name sounds far more exclusive than the place.
Being a five star place, the guest expects a ticket to nothing but the best, but reality is quite a different story altogether.
On the upside, the menu offers a generous selection, that includes favourites from a variety of cuisines other than chinese(tandoori, south indian and Italian).
I sampled the chinese vegetable fried rice and mixed vegetables cooked in schezwan sauce and was quite disappointed with the after taste!
The paneer qorma and the dal makhani were good but certainly not out of this world.

The restaurant just has the name, as its a part of ITC but there is something missing. The menu is exceptionally small. To begin with their appetizers their crispy fried vegetable in green chillies and their spicy chicken in chilli garlic sauce are made the same way. The food is bland and not very interesting. The main course spread is very much similar to other small restaurants and there is nothing innovative or new in the menu.
