Indeed a quick bite 2011-04-23
Good - homely - 200 sq.ft measured cozy place. Been there yesterday - on a rainy (or rather say drizzling) day. The paratha, Paav-Bhaaji was good and fairly priced too. Wanted to try the chappathi-sabjhi, but not available @ 8 p.m. - bit disappointed !.
Try out - when you are on your way in Cathedral road and intend to have a pit-stop for quick-bite !!! -

Compared to other places in Chennai, This joint Does serve good homely paranthas .. though taste wise I found it to be bland(my parantha didnt have any salt in it). They do provide an option of the parantha being served with either chana or curd ... 45 rs for a parantha isnt exactly budget food for me ! -

Homely Parathas!!! 2010-01-18
I had been here many times for lunch when my office was nearby. This is a very small unassuming place inside a complex, but is a real hit with the nearby office goers and college students.
There are quite a few varieties of parathas and all of them are consistently the best I have ever had and are easy on stomach. I could have a stomach full of parathas at 1 PM and still get hungry for a snack at 5 PM.
Understand from reviews that the prices have been hiked, but still worth it. -

Simply too good, they serve the best stuffed paranthas. Their bhel puris & pav bhajis too are excellent so is their curd. This is functional eatery at its best in Chennai. The minus point is they close around 8.30 / 9 pm and they have recently hiked their prices but one can live with it given the high quality pure food they dish out -
