Good Homely Rajasthani Food! Fairly Priced 2011-06-12
Found this restaurant by chance during my last visit to Anna Nagar, the signboard is on the top of the third floor of the bullding, unless you are lucky you are sure to miss it. No sign boards at the narrow entrance except a lift almost on the footpath. Inquired with the security guys there who confirmed the restaurant on the third floor.
Nice simple ambience! on the entrance they have a rajasthan wares store in the same hall, quite spacy though the seats could be a shade cleaner but I am not complaining! Now for the food!

one of the holistic restaurants that still keep chennai a good place to live in.
very quiet place and a very reserved one too, bringing the decent class people and well mannered crowd.
the thali is great, ranging from rs 100 - 160, and its pretty unlimited. the service is brisk and prompt.
The owner is a good mannered guy, a gentle north indian, who set up the shop some 10 years b4.
Must try priority:
1. abu ghatta ice cream
2. rajasthani thali
3. mix veg makhanwalla.

Excellent vegetarian food 2011-05-14
The taste of everything here is very good and its definitely worth a visit. I have never heard of anyone coming out of here dissatisfied. Pricing is reasonable. 100/110 for their flagship thali, they have other varieties too. I have attached a pic of the thali served, all items unlimited. -

For some authentic rajasthani cuisine, this place is worth checking out. Not too fancy as a restaurant, this little place offers a good variety to choose from and delivers where it really matters. It's not expensive either and makes for a hearty dining experience. -
