Located at Prince Plaza, Egmore, Spice oven replaces Chinese joint, Wangs Kitchen to serve some pretty tasty Indian Cuisine. Apparently it is the same management that owns both Spice and Wangs. I should however mention the quite dingy location where it is set, the shops all shut down at 8 ish in the night and also the emptiness of the restaurant.
The food is quite on the delicious side, portions are quite large and their rates are very very reasonable. Did not try their kebabs yet, probably when i get to visiting them again. They do feature biriyani from 2 states, Lucknow and Hyderabad.... read more -
