Normally when somebody says Thalapakattu biryani, quickly you can only think of Chicken biryani. But which is absolutely tasteless. I mean if you want to try a non spicy and less masala, would try it.
But once I happend to had a Fish biryani over here..really worth having it and it was very good flavour and required masalas added. I like it so much...
I never go to this place for chicken biryani and only fish...which is very tasty...

if you are expecting the basmati rice biryani, you will definitely be disappointed... it is the chamba rice authentic biriyani... which you get in dindukal... it tasted very good.
1 of the worst biryani I ever had. Not even 1 star suit this place and these kind of low quality shops should not be found near Alsa Mall or anywhere in Montieth Road.
Dont even try to taste it.
I agree with new2chennai. This place is not good at all. biryani is so oily and even the tandoori chicken doesnt taste good. A very much C-class eat out
