The Cascade provides a good ambience with a large portions served in each bowl. It's a decent place for giving a treat. Service may be a tad too slow, but the quantity makes up for it.

Cascade situated in the 4th floor of the building housing spencer daily, is a perfect haunt after an evening in the besant nagar beach.
Over the years their quantity has decreased a bit[blame it on the economic crisis],still their normal soups can be had by 3 people.We were a group of 8 and 3 soups were more than enough.
The menu is pretty ordinary,normal indo chinese. Their dragon chicken was really good,but the chicken dumplings was more of a big sized bonda. Chicken nor the cheese cud be found.

The Cascade experience 1
After reading a couple of rave reviews on burrp!, I absolutely had to try out Cascade. According to both reviews I came across, they served copious amounts that you couldn’t possibly eat more. That was what attracted me in the first place. (I’m a sucker for large quantities of food). It also said that prices were moderate. So I dragged a friend along & we wen’t last Friday.

Most striking feature of 'The Cascade' is quantity of food they serve. Soup or any dish will be sufficient for three or more. They have wide variety of Chinese and Thai dishes. One of the best restaurants in Adyar-Besant Nagar region. Any day you can safely take your friends there.

Cascade of food
A pretty old place compared to the chinese places opening around every corner, Cascade has its own signature style. Great quantities of unfussy straight indochinese food. The momos are good and the soups are great. It has an air conditioned area as well as a covered rooftop area with a kids play corner. So if you want some normal chinese food, no surprises or show off, then cascade is the place to be. -
