i have been here 5 times. service isn't that great and d place is a lil cramped between the tables.
chicken loliipop is pretty good. fried rice is a lot btter than noodles. sizzles r good but quantity isnt.
on one occasion i triedcrabmeat n lookin at d quantity felt cheated. i dnt know how it's priced at other places but for 280 bucks 2 get a small bowl of crabmeat cudnt b appreciated at all..
chicken pancake is just bad. thai chicken curry is decent. and among starters, donot order anything with prawn, coz d quantity will make u mad...

Have been to this place a couple of times. First it was owned by Rainforest group. now it has been bought by Gourmet cusines. It was maintained well when it was owned by rainforest people, The menu were the same. But after the hands change the food , maintanence, hospitality sucks big time. It is overcrowded on weekends. Unfriendly waiters and long delay in serving food.
Have had a change of mind not to visit this joint anymore. i would prefer rainforest anyday -

Its all about adventure and a new experience.
WHY SHOULD U CHOOSE CAVE FOR YOUR SPECIAL DINING EXPERIENCE:
1)The best butter naan in town WITH the Lachcha (the authentic way)
2) If you are a couple , you would really enjoy the gloomy , pleasant ambiance the restaurant provides
3) Service is very good .. writing a review on the basis of one particular waiter aint fair , guests are treated good

Not So Unique After All 2010-01-04
It does look weird and misplaced when you see such a cave-themed restaurant in the most prime road in the heart of the city. The place can be easily missed if not for the huge cave-door, which hardly looks like restaurants. Once you enter, it is a bit eerie, very dark and dim-light with statues of cavemen around; you instantly forget where the restaurant is actually situated. Unfortunately, unlike Rainforest in Adyar, the place doesn’t feel that comfortable. Blame it on the seating style, no couches, very closely laid tables and not-so-good smelling atmosphere.
