The ambience of this place is top class with their traditional punjabi setting. We have tried everything from the Kebab Platters, to their naans and their lassis. Have to say everything has been good. The service is quick and it is a very nice place to have a relaxed conversation as well. The Kebabs deserve a special mention. They are brilliant
Whenever someone in the group says Tandoori food the first place i can think of is the Dhaba on RK salai. Its been there for over a decade but the food and the interiors never fail to amaze me with their consistency..:) . Its still the same and even my kids love it today!! Starting with the Jal Jeera to the lassis, the succulent prawn and chicken kebabs and the rotis ...they are all good! Just try their special chilli chicken...its mouth watering! This is a fabulous restaurant...everything from the decor to the food is good. The interior is done up in a style reminiscent of roadside dhabas complete with pictures of Hindi filmstars. Service is quick and good. All the courses are generous and tasty. My favourites are the mooli paratha and curd rice. Curd rice, normally, is something most people don't order when they eat out but it is a must-try here.....tastes absolutely yum.
