Tuscana Pizzeria

“Our job and joy, is to create restaurants you’d want to return to. We’ve worked hard to create a broad community of guests who have a real stake in our restaurants success. And because we have committed our loyalty to you, we have been paid back in abundance. When you choose to become regulars at our restaurants, you are telling us that this is the place that makes me feel I’ve come home. I love interacting with guests. I believe our restaurants are loved only because the guests feel at home in our restaurants. I personally answer 99% of the guest feedbacks on our own FB page & the Burrp.com page. Thank you all Burrp readers from the bottom of our hearts.” Vipin Sachdev after winning the Miele Guide 2011 award for best Asian restaurants.

  • Italian Food to an Indian 2012-05-22

Enough was said about the place & food in burrp, so do not want to repeat them :). But yes, this was on my 'want to try' list for quite sometime & done successfully yesterday !. [Why in the list for sometime - simple, i am not a fan of pizza !!!! & why yesterday - a cousin loves pizz/pasta invited us for dinner here).

Indeed a nice place to be, service, food, ambience - very very nice. [Am I comparing with Burgundy - better i should not !. It is two different setup].

The Al Pesto, Spaghetti and Panna Cotta/Tiramisu all lived-upto-standards. Simple toppings and thin/crisp

The food was so good, my wife nearly cried tears of joy in the middle of the meal. I strongly recommend the panna cotta and the chocolate calzone.

U dont have to go to Italy...but you've just got to go to Tuscana and then keep returning- right from the plating of the dishes that court the senses to the ambience, is a complete experience package. The pina cotta is to-die-for...it trembles like the proverbial victorian bosom that gormets have described a true pina cotta creation to be- la perfecto! (Pardon my Italian)

    Dear Sadhana,
Your Italian is perfecto as I have been able to get your message. Thank you for writing your feedback & your visit to Tuscana Pizzeria. I look forward to your continued visits.
The Panna Cotta is really to die for & I agree with you. To me Panna Cotta is a acquired taste & during 2009, 2010 the Tiramisu at our restaurant used to be ordered a lot with Panna Cotta being sought as a poor cousin. About 75:25. Now since 2011 Panna Cotta is loved with more guests asking for Panna Cotta than Tiramisu. Recently in a wedding inside a 5*hotel in Chennai we served over 300 Panna Cotta's...read more

  • Great food, service could be better 2009-12-08

Tuscana Pizzaeria is the new addition to Chennai’s international genus of restaurants. The décor is tastefully done, with an option to sit in outdoor setting. But the tables are laid so close to each other making it impossible to have a peaceful conversation, so much so you can you hear the slurping from neighboring tables, which destroys the whole purpose of fine-dining. Uncomfortable is the word.

Coming to the food, the menu is vast and appetizing to look at. The wood fire-oven pizzas of course steal the show, although there are also a wide variety of pastas available. The waiter
