Veggie Lovers - Don't think beyond this place
A fabulous south indian cuisine,Tasty north indian dishes,A wide range of thirst quenchers & desserts .What more could you ask for....yup..of course the bill,which finally springs in a surprise.
Egmore mathsya is easily the best pocket friendly restaurants around without compromising on quality.
All the dishes are tasty out here, its has the udipi flavour in all it's south indian delights.Right from variety dosas,lumpsome curd-vadas, mouth watering bisi-bela's...to yummy sambar...it's a must visit for veggies.
Not to forget their specially made fruit shakes n kesar shakes..The list is too tempting to resist.
It is open till 2PM in the night and the place itself is a landmark in egmore.Easily the best veggie restaurant i had been to in chennai.

Tasty food
I had been to Mathsya on saturday night with some friends.
Was surprised that even at 10pm, there was a good amount of ppl waiting to get in.
Once we got in, the food was served in quick time, though the person serving us was in a little hurry to find out what we wanted before we could finish each dish.
Tasty food and highly recommended for those who like a good vegetarian food.

Value-for-Money Late Night Joint
I have been to Mathsya once after watching a late night flick. Was surprised to see that the place was open even at 2-2:30 AM. Also, despite getting there late, most of the items on the menu card were available. And the food was tasty as well. Highly recommended for those who like feeding themselves late.
