Pretty Decent

Its been a while (3 yrs) since i had some Afghani food.. so off to the capital of Afghanistan to taste some.

wasnt that busy so quick service

Food wasnt that bad. pretty good. the chicken tasted good but had more of an "indian" taste to it.

Decent food but not quite afghani ;)

nice kabobs and dal makhani

Ok that should be a dead give away. I agree with the previous reviewer. Its called kabul, but this is nowhere near afghani cuisine.
Even the kabobs are not cooked the same way. But you get the usual hariyali, tandoor (red) etc.

But if you ignore that, then this place serves, good kabobs, rotis/naan and awesome Dal Makhani.

Now on a recent visit, i happened to notice that the furnishing is getting very old and dull. Its a big problem with most places and this place is not far behind.

Afghan food from Bhatinda

The food is not bad. It's extremely tasty, flavourful, but it's Punjabi. I would like to see a slightly more authentic ambience, and more importantly, a lot more authentic Afghan cuisine.
