Good Chettinad food
The food is good, My favourite is the Kal dosa. This is a non-veg delight though veg is available the aroma of the non-veg item is all pervading. The restaurant decor is slightly run down from what it used to be. a facelift is required. apart from this restaurant there is a chinese, dhaba, seafood restauramt in the same complex

Terrific
Went their on a friend's recommendation for good Chettinad food while I was visiting Chennai. It was awesome. The thali is priced at Rs.150 and consists of ten items including the sweet and spicy tamarind based vatha kuzambu, sambhar, rasam, a spinach and dal kootu, a dry vegetable dish, curd, sago payasam and vermicilli kesari. Fantastic, fantastic food - in fact, I will visit Chennai just to eat here. Also tried the Chettinad boneless chicken and it made my day.
The decor is reminiscent of Chettinad mansions with rosewood doors, lovely paintings and ethnic lanterns. Be prepared to share your table with strangers.
Highly recommed this place.
