The restaurant is good in terms of its ambience and in particular, their cutlery was good... But, the goodness part of this restaurant ends there... Service is average and the taste of food prepared is actually "poor"... Perhaps, the best thing that the restaurant can do to help itself is to hire a good crew with a chef who knows his/her trade well...

Saturday night at Bombay Blue...worth the 25 minute wait for a table.
By the time we arrived, this place was jam packed, and we had a few families waiting to get in before us..
The restaurant is nice and bright and chirpy, never seen one in Chennai...very vibriant.
We started off with ice teas, which took a little time and arrived in a nice tall glass.
The Cheese Corn Balls, Kodi Vepudu, and Cheesy Fish Fingers gave us a perfect start to the dinner. The Keemah Pav and Pav bhaji actually reminded us of the Mumbai street food, the Macaronni Magic was awesome and the Hearty Meat was surprisingly huge and enough for 2.
The Apple pie and Sizzling Brownie, suggested by the waiter ended the evening on a sweet note.
The 25 minute wait...eventually was worth every minute.

Had a chance to visit bombay blues last weekend.
Nice looking place, cozy location, but food is a thumbs down.
Trust me, I had a chance to try out quite a wide sampling of what was on offer, but the only food that was good was the sizzler. The rest could be drastically improved.
There is quite a bit of variety on offer, but the end result is disappointing.
My verdict- drastic improvement should be the most important item on the menu!!!!

The place boasts of a large menu with lot of Ad's in it..But the dishes are gud on the menu rather than on the taste buds......
Bombay blue clearly lacks service and quality food. The Ice tea came to me filled up in a large glass and went back the same way.I just could have a sip at it..Not more than that. They should very much improve their sizzlers, pastas and main course offerings to keep their customers coming back to them.
On de whole the place is jus not worth a try...a waste of time and money...

A very nice experiance. The tomato soup was tasty, the corn & cheese balls made a perfect starter. The main course Punjabi Thali Non Veg was 'first time' in Chennai for me atleast. Desert was Malai Kulfi with Rabadi FANTASTIC. We had been for lunch with the whole office crowd of 18 guys, we had a nice section to ourselves on the rear. We surely enjoyed the lunch. Keep up the good work guys.
