This is one place you shouldn't miss out for Idli's. It's different and very good.
Great experience for people who haven't eaten Idli's in south indian style yet!
Good prompt service but a little cramped. You should be safe once you have found a seat. They use disposable plastic glasses which will never fly away from you table.

Have been to this place at the time it started in besant nagar, but things are not good and tasty nowadays!. You can be here with people outside chennai and not within the city. Tell me honestly how many of them like Idlies and Dosai's more than once in 4-5days!.
Ratna cafe who are the drop dead famous for these stuff are completely vanished and these MIK! are making money as there are not much competes around... I would rather say that this would be okay once you are let off with no choices than to taste your buds here!, otherwise for god's sake dont be here.
I would prefer the sweet pongal! which is sometime more sweeter than sugar! otherwise typical dosai and idly thats it!

This is a place where i started loving Idlies... THe service was really excellent... Only thing is... they are making us to wait outside for atleast 20 mins to get us a seat...Waiting place is near a drainage ,filled with mosquitos and stinking..where we will loose half of our appetite..
But All seems to vanish once we taste those divine idly(Dont miss the Podi and ennai) and the excellent service by the attenders...
