Chinese for sure
It is chinese with a little indo-chinese mix but it is chinese for sure, its not totally indianised like they do in some places. Sure try the wantons and cripy fried noodles in ther words the american chopsuey.. nothing to beat it~ i keep going bak for it.

Part of a chain, this outlet comes with the authentic fare of the very first kitchen. Call ahead to book a table or a private room for more than five persons. You will enjoy the service.

Unbeatable chinese restaurant
This restaurant chain is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. This one in particular is the oldest. Even though I haven't been to this particular restaurant. I've been to the ones in Anna Nagar and Indra Nagar and I can tell you that the quality of food is simply superb, authentic and consistent across all outlets. The ambiance and quality of service is also good.
Although its a little expensive, its worth it. If you are looking for something inexpensive yet authentic, try The Cascade in T Nagar or Kader Nawaz Khan Road, Nungambakkam.
