It definitely feels better to sit on the pavement by the beachside and eat mouthwatering aloo parata with heavenly dahi than sit in an expensive punjabi retsaurant (just carrying 'Dhaba' in their names but cant have the atmosphere obviously). The rice aint that good but its stupid to order it here. Go for the paratas and samosa chenna, noone can enough of them. The dahi is to die for.

If you are a north Indian in Chennai and just can't find that perfect aloo paratha, this is the place. Ok. It's not much a "place" as such. It's more of a hole in the wall across from Elliots beach, Besant Nagar. And no tables or chairs. And none of this seems to deter the hundreds of dedicated Khaana Khazana fans who queue up daily to get the most delicious aloo paratha in town. And it will hardly make a dent in your pocket.
