Authentic tasteless chinese food 2008-12-09
I went to Wang's kitchen at Nungambakkam with a lotta expectations. I liked the ambience. We reached there at around 2:30, a little late..I accept but that doesnt mean the waiter should hurry us to order the food. The food too was nothing great. It was quite ordinary. We found the food bland. May be I'm used to eating indo-chinese food & thats why, I didnt like the food here. What ever the reason is, I dont think I'll go to Wang's kitchen again. -

Chinese for sure 2008-03-19
It is chinese with a little indo-chinese mix but it is chinese for sure, its not totally indianised like they do in some places. Sure try the wantons and cripy fried noodles in ther words the american chopsuey.. nothing to beat it~ i keep going bak for it. -

Unbeatable chinese restaurant 2007-06-06
This restaurant chain is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. This one in particular is the oldest. Even though I haven't been to this particular restaurant. I've been to the ones in Anna Nagar and Indra Nagar and I can tell you that the quality of food is simply superb, authentic and consistent across all outlets. The ambiance and quality of service is also good.
Although its a little expensive, its worth it. If you are looking for something inexpensive yet authentic, try The Cascade in T Nagar or Kader Nawaz Khan Road, Nungambakkam. -
