Juice Junction

Quite different from other juice parlor, this small stall is unique. Value for money fresh sugar cane juice is what you get here. Located inside Banashankari BDA complex, the tiny outlet is one of a kind, it is not just a juice shop, but a juicy junction for romantic rendezvous as well.
The menu is simple & smart; Cane-o-la offers sugarcane juice & its variants. Choose from plain to chat masala mix or ginger sugar cane juice. If looking for something very soothing then go for mint sugarcane or lemon sugarcane juice. In the mood to experiment, well try out the salt & pepper sugarcane juice. Whatever you select, trust me the juice is refreshing & healthy.
Cane-o-la gets the tag unique not only for its menu but also because it takes utmost care to prepare the juice in a clean & neat environment. The hygiene factor is something you will appreciate about this outlet. The juice makers are smartly dressed & the service is prompt & polite. A glass of juice cost Rs 10/- only. Startled? Well, I too was. But it is true.
In the evening, it becomes a buzzing hang out for college goers & shoppers around. This juice shop surely quenches the thirst of both lovers & loners. Cane-o-la has no seating arrangements but there is ample of space outside the stall and stairs of the complex is mostly occupied by sugarcane juice lovers. If you want to take it away they have a food grade paper cup for Rs2/- each. Sugarcane is a great source of energy & makes a good health drink, so lovers really don’t care for the space when they have a health drink to boost their energy.
And for all those folks who loves to drink & drive. You can stop at this juice junction and drink till you meet your desire. Traffic police will not stop you from drinking this health drink. So go ahead & drive safe.

Fresh Guaranteed.

This tiny, aromatic shop at garuda mall is a place for all filter coffee lover. Pure coffee at great price is what you get at Kalmane Koffee. Made from freshly ground top quality beans, the place guarantee you the freshness of freshly roasted fine coffee.

Kalmane Koffee has a wide range of Filter Kaapi, Espresso Koffee & Cold Coffee. Starting from as low as Rs/- 15 to Rs 55/- the coffee here is a treat to all. Kalmane is known for its superior quality filter coffee, coffee to warm your soul. It’s not just the coffee that won my heart but the service and ambience too. The service is good, ambience is warm and friendly. The décor of the shop too get the credit for creating such atmosphere. The interior is simple yet sophisticated, wooden seating with hues of earthy tones goes well with the exceptional coffee.

My three MUST TRY are Blue Grass, Nelyni Gold & Kaapi Masala. Blue Grass is a simple traditional south Indian filter coffee whilst Nelyani Gold is a coffee flavoured with cardamom and Kaapi Masala is a filter coffee with a blend of cinnamon and cardamom. The coffee here is sure to please even the connoisseur. And for customers who want to carry home these flavors and relish them later, the coffee powders are available at the outlet. The USP of Kalmane Kofffee is just pure filter coffee! Filter coffee and filter coffee! The quality is superior and reasonably priced. Kalmane today is a big part of Namma Bengaluru.

If you are in Bangalore, your stay is incomplete without Kalmane Filter Kaapi. Highly recommended for all. Each flavour is unique and you savour the flavour of every sip. The brand has many outlets in Bangalore. So do experience the real taste of filter coffee and I can say Fresh Guaranteed.

Cheeni Kum.

This little eatery, with no frills is a good stop for a quick-fix coffee & bites. An initiative of Reliance group, Java Green comes in handy for quick business deals too. Frequented mostly by Reliance users, you don’t get to see the noisy college goers here.

Like the standard café; hot & cold coffee, smoothies, cappuccino, latte, chocolate fudge & etc are on offer. Snacks include burger, roll, sandwiches, pizza & pannis. On the sweet side they have mini donuts, muffins, brownie, pastry & plum cake. Java green also offer the customer combo choice like the great breakfast combo, lunch & anytime combo. The price is moderate. There is nothing great about the ambience. It is a common ground for small business meeting over a cup o coffee. Definitely not a place for the modish ones to grab a cuppa coffee.

On my visit I always order Death by chocolate & Java Mocha. Death by chocolate is yummy & irresistible, a pastry with oodles of delicious chocolate. Mocha this time was a big turn off. It was almost tasteless. Sugar was missing. The service…is damn tardy. To my dismay Java green doesn’t even have a sachet of sugar, and guess what I asked for sugar free. This is not the very first time; many times we have complaint to the manager. Is any one really listening?
Nonetheless, something you should not miss is Java Green Special, a cool blend of lime & blue curaco.
So if you happen to be strolling in Forum, Java Green does come handy for quick grab & bite. Do drop in.

The Best tea Bar.

Infinitea- the India’s first tea bar is heaven for all Tea lovers. As you enter the aroma of the beverages caresses you. The ambience is classic & sophisticated. The posters & pictures with snippets of information all around reflect the beauty of the Queen of the hills (Darjeeling). The menu offers a range of exotic teas, with more than 50 tea recipes. It certainly promises a good time.
Darjeeling, the land of muscated flavored Darjeeling tea revered by connoisseurs across the globe and being a Nepali I choose to go for Setting Saffron, which is a blend of Indian home made syrup with traditional ingredients and fine teas from Darjeeling. I was speechless. I couldn’t ask for more. And with momo to eat, it was nostalgic. The place took me back to my golden days in Darjeeling.
Darjeeling tea is always favorite among tea drinkers but there are other interesting teas to try out like the Avongrove stupa, which is a flower tea. The tea bud is put on a cup on which boiling water is poured. Slowly the bud then blooms into a flower inside the cup & the flavor of the tea infuses into the hot water.
A note of caution. Some teas like Enigma on the rocks can get you tipsy, as it has a mild flavor of whisky.
At Infinitea you savour the flavor of every sip of tea. Drinking tea here is a wonderful experience with a range of delectable teas & delicious dishes and above all the warm hospitality which will make you enjoy your visit to Infinitea every time. The teas are priced reasonably, a cup cost Rs 45/- at the minimum and can go up to Rs250/- for a pot that serves two. The tea bar also has a counter selling both loose & packed tea leaves to carry home along. The tip for all, drink tea with out sugar or milk. They are best enjoyed pure. So for an unmatched experience, head to Infinitea at Cunnigham road.

Relax & Revive

A trendy European style coffee bar, Brio is nestled in Home Stop, Bangalore. The café offers a range of coffees & snacks, a warm & friendly atmosphere & smart staffs for your service. Brio is a perfect place to catch up with kith & kin or to just relax & revive as you savour the every sip of your drink.

Relishing the Choco Carmel Latte I cherish those magical moments. As design students we weaved wonderful memories here. Today it’s been years yet the laughter & gossip still lingers in my mind. It was cool to be seen here, a new store opened next to our college. The popular show “Friends” café culture was a big fashionable statement then, so Brio was the place for us. In a city dotted with ritzy coffee shops, Brio is unique. Every visit to the coffee bistro is an experience in itself.

Your visit to the café is incomplete without Macadamia Mocchaccino. The beverage is a coffee to die for. Each time you put down your cup, you will pick it up again. The freshly made sandwiches are a good option to snack on. The menu also features shakes, cappuccinos, desserts cookies, brownies, muffins, croissants, puffs & etc.

A must visit for any coffee culture enthusiast. Brio welcomes you with good food & beverages at great prices and relaxing ambience. The place is well decorated in earthy tones & teak furniture. The outdoor seating gives you a splendid view of the shopping mall. It’s best to be here in the twilight. Nothing obnoxious, Brio is perfect. Take a break & unwind yourself in the overwhelmingly warm environs.
