  • Amazing Ambiance

    Rainforest , Adyar  |  19 reviews

One of those places that will have you talking about the ambiance. The owners have put a lot of money (and thought) into decorating the place and this has worked for the hotel. It truly is a rain forest once you are inside and you forget about the screeching traffic that is 50 ft away from the hotel.

  • Great buffet!

Zodiac , Old Mahabalipuram Road  |  4 reviews

Had the lunch buffet. The sort of place where you would just have a blast. One of those place where you stop counting calories, loosen your belt and go all out.

This place has a great spread of continental, chinese and punjabi cuisines on their buffet. The taste was great as well. Couldn't sample everything that was on the buffet even though I am a vegetarian! The desserts were out of the world.

All in all, a fantastic place to go if you don't mind paying 650 bucks for the buffet.

Started off the order with a couple of Masala Papads and "Punjab di beer" which by the way is a "must have" even for non-alcoholics. This raised my expectations but what followed was a let down of sorts. The Baingan Bharta and the dal makhni were better than the typical Punjabi fare available in other Chennai restaurants but the portion sizes were disappointing. Same with
