Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
I am a regular at the Lotus and I love the weekday lunch buffet. The food is amazing and you will want to return for the next meal as well.
The spread is not to large but each and every dish is absolutely brilliant.
The soup are very nice and very flavourful. They serve a basic tom yum and coconut based soup. Different types of noodles, veggies, meat and fish can be added to them. There is a live salad bar where they make the best raw papaya and raw mango salad with again a variety of veggies, fried and grilled meats. The salads are absolutely divine.
I love Raintree's Kitchen and Lemongrass. The food is really good in both these places. I just assumed that the food would be just as good at Madras but I was sooo wrong.
The restaurant is very well done. It looks elegant but there is no correlation between the place and the kind of food that they serve. Even the cutlery used were probably the best you can find but I was so not happy with the food.

I never thought I would be so critical about food ever. but after stepping into this place I can clearly differentiate between good food and horrible food. And I am sorry to say that this place belongs to the latter.
To begin with the starters, the spring roll had a very strong flavour of egg white. Not many vegetarians appreciate it and I would love to recommend spring roll pastry to the chef. The dip was served along was ketchup. Has the chef ever heard of chilli garlic sauce?
It is very obvious that Indians cannot eat authentic Chinese food because of the spices and the... read more
