Most striking feature of 'The Cascade' is quantity of food they serve. Soup or any dish will be sufficient for three or more. They have wide variety of Chinese and Thai dishes. One of the best restaurants in Adyar-Besant Nagar region. Any day you can safely take your friends there.
Decorated in a fine manner, The Cascade offers great hospitality. They may surprise you with compliment items!

I first tasted the Italian Gelato at this place. I liked it better than any ice cream available in Chennai. I always used to like desserts from Eden's menu. There are tempting. But Emilio's Gelatos are even better in content, taste and form. Natural feel of these Gelatos is admirable. After I tasted Gelato here, I tried at few other, including one at City Center Mall, but they taste very artificial and lack the originality.
Emilio's Ferrero Rocher is excellent. But I love Hazelnut and Melone flavors.

Italian Gelatos are known for their natural flavours. Emilio's Gelatos are no different. Their flavours are splendid, impressive and natural. Soft Gelatos make us to go for one more. My favorites are Hazelnut and Melon. Cold Stone Creations add glamour to tasty Gelatos.
My 5-year old daughter not only likes their Gelato but also loves Garlic Bread there. Their pastas are tasty.
Waiters are responsive and well behaved.
Right on ECR; excellent location. Done up very well.

From 1993 I am a regular visitor of this great restaurant. The owners used to welcome us with a big smile. Two of the waiters are working there for more than 15 years. Their hospitality cannot be forgotten. They are very responsive and fast.
Besides hospitality, Eden is a great place for food. Both Indian and Continental varieties are tastier. They kept their standards even after a long period. That's the reason even now the people wait for a long time for space.
Excellent....Nothing less than 5 Stars!! -
